A Lakeland teenager is dead after attending two house parties during which underage drinking and possibly drugs may have been allowed, Polk County deputies said.
Kyle Hall
Deputies found 19-year-old Kyle Hall unresponsive at 6576 Crews Lake Crest Loop in Lakeland just before 5 a.m. Sunday. Deputies tried to resuscitate him, but were unsuccessful. He was pronounced dead at Bartow Regional Medical Center just before 6 a.m.
Witnesses told detectives there was a party at that house, which is owned by Don Gifford. Witnesses also said Hall had been at another party in the Christina subdivision earlier.
Detectives call the teenager's death suspicious and are waiting for the medical examiner to determine how Hall died.
Detectives said the homeowners may face charges relating to underage drinking and narcotics violations.
