TAMPA - Police suspect some harm might have come to the owner of a Tampa nightclub who has not been seen for roughly three weeks.
Jamal Mohammed
Jamal Mohammed, 32, owns Studio Inc. on West Waters Avenue, along with several rental properties, Tampa police said.
Police today said there is the "possibility of foul play" involved in his disappearance.
Mohammed was last seen at a rental property, the Marina Apartments near North 50th Street and Busch Boulevard, about 3 p.m. Oct. 16, police said.
Later that evening, Mohammed's white 2008 Hummer H2 was found abandoned in the 700 block of East Hollywood Street with the keys inside, police said.
Investigators said no one from Mohammed's family has heard from him in about three weeks, and relatives are concerned. An attempt to reach Mohammed's wife, Rachel, this morning was unsuccessful.
Police released photos of the missing man's vehicle. Detectives asked anyone with information about his whereabouts to call police at (813) 231-6130.
