Gas Leak Forces Lockdown At Bevis Elementary

TAMPA - Bevis Elementary School is on lockdown as Hillsborough fire and rescue investigators search for a gas leak inside the school at 5720 Osprey Ridge Drive in Lithia, fire spokesman Ray Yeakley said.
Workers with a construction company hit a two-inch natural gas line, Yeakley said. All students are being sheltered inside the school, and no one has been evacuated.
Fire fighters report no injuries from the leak.
