GAINESVILLE - University of Florida WR Percy Harvin missed practice Thursday and half of practice Wednesday because he contracted a sinus infection.
"He started getting sick as a dog [Wednesday]," Coach Urban Meyer said. "He should be fine."
Meyer anticipated that Harvin would be back to normal today, but his illness seems to be the start of a trend for the Gators.
Fellow WR Louis Murphy missed practice Tuesday after feeling sick, but Meyer said the junior is feeling great now.
"That's what a typical doctor says when someone gets sick: Well, it's going around," Meyer said.
DUNLAP DAZZLES: Freshman DE Carlos Dunlap has made a recent push for some playing time.
Dunlap contributes on special teams and has played defense minimally this season, but Meyer said the freshman's technique and work ethic have improved in recent weeks.
The 6-foot-6, 240-pounder practically launched himself over the top of a Vanderbilt player to nearly block a punt last week.
Dunlap will most likely play on the outside, though Meyer said he has considered using him as a tackle.
"He's going to have a great career," Meyer said. "He's a real talented guy. … He's tough and he's got great range because of his wingspan."
