John Graziano
TAMPA - John Graziano, the 22-year-old who was injured in a car crash involving wrestler Hulk Hogan's son, was moved to James A. Haley VA Medical Center on Thursday, according to his lawyer, George Tragos.
Graziano, a Marine who served in Iraq, suffered head injuries in an Aug. 26 crash while riding in a Toyota Supra driven by friend Nick Bollea, Hogan's 17-year-old son. Bollea was charged Wednesday in connection with the crash, which left his friend incapacitated.
Graziano was moved from Bayfront Medical Center. Tragos had said that the Department of Veteran Affairs, which has been paying for his medical treatment, wanted Graziano moved.

The DMV and courts share much of the blame for this. After his fourth speeding ticket, and second for going over 100 mph, it should have been apparent that young Hulkster was incorrigible and should have been stripped of his license.

It was mentioned on TV last night that John's medical care in his lifetime could exceed 20 million dollars. The Bollea's know they're responsible but they are going to fight to the end to get the amount of their liability as low as they possibly can. I'm not saying that's right but how many of you would not do the same thing faced with that kind of loss?

And from what I understand, the taxpayers will be paying for this medical care as he is military.

All the comments about who did what and who should pay for this and that would not even be a question if John had been riding with someone that was not a celeb. Bottom line is this, if you get in a car and don't put your seatbelt on you are risking your own life. On the other side or the bottom line, if you drive a car you are responsible for your actions and everyone in your car no matter who you are.

It's obvious you don't understand the type of injury that Graziano has. One of the main injuries was a fracture at the base of the skull (the same injury that killed Dale Earnhardt, Adam Petty, and various other race car drivers who were ALL wearing seatbelts). This type of injury is caused by SPEED (deceleration typically)...
The best way to prevent these types of injury is by not crashing...DUH!

Also by a physics standpoint. If the impact was over 30MPH then the damage to the car would have been much more substantial. Re-check the car photos. The hood was UP not damaged. The back end was caved but not right to the front seats. IT is an unfotunate circumstance but it was also a freak accident that and injury to this nature happened.

What if John was driving ....I wonder how the Hulk would be acting. I think John would already be in jail...after all he isn't famous. The Hogans should have reeled Nick in after the first speeding incident...but instead they spoiled him and no lesson was learned. Now this tragedy has happened.....too bad he didn't learn his lesson earlier. My prayers are with John's family.

I strongly suspect you are part of the Bollea family PR campaign aimed at smearing John Graziano and trying to deflect blame from Nick Bollea.
There is ZERO evidence that supports your opinion that had he been wearing a seatbelt he would "have been fine". Especially since the kind of injuries he has happen to people who wear their seatbelts too.
There is only ONE POSITIVE way that he would have suffered no injuries and that is if Nick Bollea had not driven after drinking, driven at excessive speeds, street raced, lost control and crashed the car...CASE CLOSED.
Since you are so big on personal responsibility, what about Nick's responsibility for the illegal actions he made?

That's some of the most flawed logic I've ever heard. The forces of the impact are different depending on where you are in the car. There are literally thousands of instances of people in the same car suffering significantly different levels of injury, so that's not empirical evidence, it's a result of the physical forces at play in the vehicle.
Plain and simple there is only one factor that COMPLETELY changes the outcome of this event....Nick crashing (PERIOD).

Case Closed? Being that he is a Marine I am very sad that his life has come down to these silly PR Spinning Jokes. Seat Belts????? Nick, you are driving, you are responsible. Nick/AND Family-pay everything, take care of that poor family. Insurance, your savings, and whatever money the Hulk has. It Sucks. But at least your son is healthy, has never had to be in IRAQ, or is almost brain dead. Suck it up and be the man you claim to be. That family needs to be held responsible.

"Zero evidence? How about the FACT that Nick walked away from the accident? Isn't that enough evidence??" Nick did not walk away from the accident, the ambulance took him. The injury John suffered, I was led to understand, is akin to that which killed Dale Earnhardt Sr. None of us were there and this myriad of comment filled with supposed "factual" conjecture and verbal diarrhea is making a lot of people sound very foolish.

Let's see....17 year old and 22 year old in car. Sports car. Do ya really think the 22 year old was saying, Nick, buddy, slow down....slow down. Hardly, they were enjoying every minute of that car ride until the bitter end and both are responsible for the outcome.

I hope that your name does not mean that you have an affiliation with the University of Florida as a graduate or a fan. For those of us who are alumni, we respectfully ask that you change or name or stop posting grammatically incorrect absolute statements that you cannot support with concrete evidence. Nick walked away because of the side of the car that hit the tree. You obviously are not familiar with the laws of Physics.
Again-please stop posting comments. You sound like a complete idiot who speaks with emotion rather than intellect and fact.
