TAMPA - With plenty of burglary tools and a disguise, Jamal Meristil went to a lot of trouble to break into an industrial building in east Tampa early Friday, officials said.

Hillsborough deputies said the 24-year-old donned a ski mask and gloves and used bolt cutters to cut his way through a chain-link fence surrounding Industrial Galvanizers America, 9520 E. Broadway Ave.
Meristil, whose address is listed as "at large" in jail reports, then entered the building and tried to break into an adjacent room by using a pry bar on the door, the report said.
Deputies said he used a two-way radio during the burglary and carried a multitool and a flashlight.
They caught him running from the scene, and his 1995 Dodge Intrepid was parked outside the fence, the report said.
Meristil was charged with seven counts of possession of burglary tools and one count each of burglary, criminal mischief, unlawful use of a radio communication device and wearing of a hood on the street. He remains in Orient Road Jail with bail set at $ 24,250.
