TAMPA - Busch Entertainment Corp. rolled out new ticket packages for its adventure parks Friday and created a new brand to put them under. The company also raised by $3 the cost of admission at Busch Gardens in Tampa and SeaWorld in Orlando.

The price of a single-day ticket at Busch Gardens is now $64.95, up from $61.95. Single-day admission at SeaWorld is now $67.95, up from $64.95.

Worlds of Discovery is the new unifying name for all 10 of Busch Entertainment's adventure parks, including SeaWorld, Busch Gardens, Discovery Cove, Aquatica and Adventure Island. The company also released new ticket packages designed to give visitors to the five parks in Florida more value.

For example, a two-park ticket for SeaWorld and Aquatica will cost $89.95, a savings of $16.95 per person compared with the price of separate tickets. A three-park ticket for SeaWorld, Aquatica and Busch Gardens is $134.95, a savings of $36.90 per person.

"All of our parks offer guests the opportunity to celebrate, connect and care for the world we share with their families," said Joe Couceiro, vice president and chief marketing officer for Busch Entertainment. "This common thread of authentic experiences, interactive learning and leisure opportunities creates meaning beyond park visits and is the driving force behind Worlds of Discovery."

Visitors who purchase tickets at least seven days in advance receive:

•Adult tickets at children's prices

•Unlimited admission on all multipark tickets during stay

•Round-trip transportation between Orlando and Busch Gardens in Tampa

Also, beginning Nov. 26, unlimited admission for a year to either SeaWorld or Busch Gardens will be offered to Florida residents for the price of a single-day ticket.

"Pay For A Day is, hands down, the best family entertainment offer for Floridians," Couceiro said.
