Two Die in Largo Crash

Two people died following a traffic crash Saturday night in Largo, police say.
A 1997 Jeep traveling south on Keene Road hit a curb, causing the Jeep to bounce back into the road's northbound lanes, a Largo police release states. A 2003 Lincoln heading north on Keene struck the Jeep about 11:27 p.m. near 1799 Keene Road.
The Jeep's driver, 28-year-old Jennifer Jean Jones, died at the scene.
The Lincoln's driver, 80-year-old Gerald Legare Heatley, was transported to Bayfront Medical Center. He died there as a result of his injuries, according to the release.
Details aren't immediately available on where the drivers were from, Largo police spokesman Mike Loux said.
An investigation is ongoing.
There were no passengers in either vehicle, the release states.
