Crash In St. Pete Snarls Gandy Bridge Traffic

A two-car crash on Gandy Boulevard at San Martin Boulevard in St. Petersburg has caused a major traffic snarl across the bridge.
All westbound lanes in the area are blocked.
Police were called to a two-car crash about 1:30 p.m., said spokeswoman Jennifer Dawkins of the St. Petersburg Police Department.
An older woman was bleeding from the head after the crash, Dawkins said. One car went off the road and into brush, she said.
