GAINESVILLE - Illness kept Florida WR Percy Harvin from practicing Monday, but Gators coach Urban Meyer said he believes Harvin should be available to play Saturday against Florida Atlantic.
Harvin missed Saturday's win at South Carolina because of a sinus infection and migraine headaches. Meyer said Harvin took two bags of fluid intravenously Sunday, but Meyer said he hopes Harvin will return to practice today.
"I think he'll play in this game," Meyer said.
Meyer said he also got good news about freshman OG Maurkice Pouncey, who sprained his right ankle Saturday. Meyer said the team's medical staff initially thought the sprain would keep Pouncey out of Saturday's game, but Meyer said Pouncey may be available after all.
TEBOW HONORED AGAIN: QB Tim Tebow was named the SEC's offensive player of the week Monday in honor of his seven-touchdown (five rushing, two passing) game against the Gamecocks. Sunday, Tebow was named the Walter Camp national offensive player of the week.
