A Ruskin man went to his neighbor's home and pointed a rifle at him, Hillsborough County deputies say.
John Joseph McNabb III was arrested early this morning. Deputies say McNabb, 56, committed aggravated assault with a firearm about 11 p.m. Wednesday
When McNabb pointed the rifle at him, the neighbor closed his door, which caused the barrel to become caught between the door and door frame, a criminal arrest affidavit states.
McNabb got the rifle free and told the neighbor, "I'm your worst nightmare," sheriff's office spokeswoman Debbie Carter said. McNabb later walked home, according to the affidavit.
The incident occurred after an argument when McNabb's neighbor used a vehicle to pull another vehicle out of a ditch near McNabb's property, Carter said.
McNabb, of 2721 Metro Drive, has been released from Orient Road Jail.
