Investigators gather evidence after two men were shot while crossing a bridge early Friday morning.

LAKELAND - Two men were treated and released from a Lakeland hospital after both suffered minor wounds in an overnight drive-by shooting, police said.
Police are investigating the shooting but have made no arrests.
The shooting happened near an overpass bridge on the 900 block of West Memorial Boulevard about 2:20 a.m.
Based on witness accounts, police reported that several people were walking along a dirt path next to the bridge when someone in a passing vehicle opened fire. Kenneth Joe Stacy, 24, was shot in the hand, and Ellie Quadrell Tate McGary, 23, was hit in the arm, police said.
Both men were transported to Lakeland Regional Medical Center and treated, but they were not admitted.
