The store has launched its own line of furnishings, New Attitudes. It incorporates classic furniture forms with modern accents. Look for natural materials such as leather and rattan, exotic rosewood veneers, solid walnut and stainless-steel accents.

Reporting Dog Fighting Can Be Rewarding

Call in a tip or information that leads to the criminal prosecution of someone running a dogfighting ring and you could receive a reward.

American Pet Cross, a new national organization that aims to provide support for animals and their owners by bolstering existing animal welfare organizations, has announced a $100,000 reward program.

Live Music A Natural At USF Gardens

Bring a lawn chair or blanket and settle in for an afternoon of live music Sunday at the University of South Florida Botanical Gardens.

The entertainment by Uncle John's Band starts at 2 p.m. Admission is $6 for the public and $4 for USF Botanical Gardens members.

Board Members Can Learn To Resolve Condo Conflicts

Sometimes the arguments start over noise, parking or peeling paint. Whatever the cause, conflicts often arise in condo communities.

Board members for condos and co-ops can learn how to get problems settled through a free course offered from 9 a.m. to noon Dec. 6 at LaQuinta Inn & Conference Center, 21338 U.S. 19 N., Clearwater.

The course is provided by Community Associations Institute, the state's designated education provider for condos and co-ops.
