No. 18 FSU Falls To DePaul

CHICAGO - Natasha Williams had a game-high 23 points on 10-for-10 shooting and eight rebounds to lead No. 24 DePaul (3-0) to a 79-68 upset win over No. 18 Florida State on Friday night.
Mara Freshour had 14 points to lead the Seminoles (2-1), who hit just 10 of 30 (33.3 percent) second-half shots after shooting 53.8 percent in the first half.

MARYLAND 75, NOTRE DAME 59: Laura Harper had 17 points and 13 rebounds, and third-ranked Maryland tied a school record with 12 3-pointers in a rout of No. 23 Notre Dame (2-1) that thrust the host Terrapins (4-0) into the championship game of the Preseason WNIT.

RUTGERS 62, CREIGHTON 43: Epiphanny Prince scored eight of her 12 points during a pivotal second-half run to help No. 6 Rutgers (1-1) beat Creighton (1-1).

UNC 92, COPPIN STATE 63: Reserve Jessica Breland scored a career-high 19 points to lead No. 7 North Carolina (4-0).

GEORGIA 57, TEMPLE 51: Ashley Houts had 12 points and six assists, and No. 8 Georgia (3-0) held visiting Temple (1-1) scoreless over the final 4:41.

WEST VIRGINIA 81, ST. FRANCIS 29: Yinka Sanni had 14 points and 11 rebounds to lead No. 19 West Virginia (2-0).

CAL STATE-DOMINGUEZ HILLS 54, TAMPA 53: The Spartans lost their season opener at the Eva Schicke Memorial Classic in Turlock, Calif. The Spartans will play Cal State-Stanislaus tonight at 10:30.

SAINT LEO 75, PUERTO RICO-RIO PIEDRAS 46: Amanda Holloway scored a game-high 19 points off the bench as the host Lions opened their season with a win at the Sleep Inn Classic.
