Clothes To Kids, a Pinellas County program that provides clothing for poor children, is in critical need of long pants for boys in sizes 4 to 18 and girls in sizes 5 to 16, according to the organization.
As the weather turns cool and the holidays approach, the program expects to serve more than 60 children per day and provide each with a complete wardrobe of clothing.
New or freshly laundered, gently used clothing may be dropped off at the Clothes To Kids store, 1059 N. Hercules Ave. in Clearwater, Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
The organization is also in need of cash donations to help fully stock the store with warm clothes and jackets. Cash donations help supplement the donated clothing inventory and ensure every child shopping at Clothes To Kids receives a complete wardrobe. Donations are fully tax-deductible and can be mailed to P.O. Box 6123, Clearwater, Florida 33758-6123 or dropped off at the store location.
Founded in 2002, Clothes To Kids, Inc. is a year-round organization whose mission is to provide new and quality used clothing to low-income, school-age children in Pinellas County, free of charge.
