A head-on collision killed one person and injured several more in Hernando County Friday.

A head-on collision between two pickups in Hernando County killed one person and sent several to the hospital, Florida Highway Patrol troopers said.
The crash occurred at Krammer Street on Treiman Boulevard in Webster, not far from the Sumter County-Hernando County line.
Some of the injured are children, troopers said.
Ambulances were taking the injured to hospitals with trauma centers, including St. Joseph's Hospital and Tampa General Hospital.
The victims could not be airlifted because of foggy conditions, emergency workers said.
