The day shoppers have been waiting for is here. It's Black Friday, which marks the start of the holiday retail shopping season - even though some stores have had their trees trimmed and their holiday ditties playing for weeks.
It's called Black Friday because retailers are turning a profit - staying in the black.
Though the throngs of eager bargain hunters might lead you to think it's the busiest day of the shopping season, that's a misconception. The Saturday before Christmas usually takes that honor.
If you plan to check out the retail frenzy, go to TBO.com before heading out.
