Miley Cyrus celebrated turning 15 on Friday with more than 15,000 hometown friends, who serenaded her with "Happy Birthday" toward the end of her concert in Nashville, complete with pyrotechnic displays and a cake delivered onstage.

"I'll tell you guys that my main wish when my parents asked me, 'Miley, what do you want for your 15th birthday?' the only thing that I had to say was, 'I want to be here at home with Nashville and all of you guys,'" the star of the hit Disney TV show "Hannah Montana" told the crowd, reported People.com.

"The reason that I do what I do is for all of you guys," she said. "Anyone from a small town can go out there and live their dream, and so to be here with you guys tonight on my birthday is amazing."

For the encore, her dad, country singer Billy Ray Cyrus, came out with an acoustic guitar to sing their signature duet, "Ready, Set, Don't Go," and included her sister Brandi Glenn Cyrus on backup guitar.

"I'd like to bring out my best friend - that just about says it all - my daddy," Miley announced.

When the song ended, Billy Ray hugged Miley, telling her, "Happy birthday, little girl."

Thomas Appeals For Holiday Donations
Marlo Thomas wants holiday shoppers to set aside a little of the money they're spending and donate it to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, founded by her father, Danny Thomas.

"So many moms and dads come up to me and say that their child wouldn't be alive if it wasn't for St. Jude. Not just because of the research that we're doing there, but because they couldn't have afforded it," Thomas said in a segment for "This Week" that aired Sunday.

"When people go out shopping, they should look for the green magnifying glass. It signifies that we never stop looking for cures. And when the associate at the store says, 'Would you like to add something for the kids at St. Jude?', add something. Add $1, add $2. Add whatever you can afford," she said.

Thomas, 67, is married to Phil Donahue. She starred in the 1960s TV series "That Girl" and had a recurring role on "Friends."

Woman Claims Assault, Sues Rodman

A former beverage manager at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas has sued Dennis Rodman, claiming the ex-NBA star assaulted her last year by rubbing against her body and slapping her on the buttocks.

In her federal lawsuit filed last week, Sara Robinson also accuses her former employer of retaliating against her after she complained about Rodman's behavior. Rodman spokeswoman Shannon Barr declined to comment, and Hard Rock spokeswoman Dorian Cantrell did not immediately return phone calls Saturday.

In her complaint, Robinson said she was working in the resort's Cuba Libre bar in March 2006 when Rodman, a hotel guest, began "making a scene" by trying to climb atop the bar after failing to gain her full attention.

"As Robinson stepped around the bar, Rodman grabbed her, pulled her towards him and rubbed his body against hers," the lawsuit alleges. "Robinson tried to get free from Rodman's grasp at which time he assaulted her by reaching down and slapping her open-handed on the bottom."

The complaint, which seeks unspecified damages, claims that Robinson was fired after she filled out a voluntary statement detailing Rodman's actions in a subsequent incident at the same bar the next month in which he is also accused of causing a scene.
