BROOKSVILLE - Residents seeking more information about Hernando County's new Save-Our-Seniors Tax Exemption program can now visit the property appraiser's Web site for details.
Approved unanimously by county commissioners during a budget hearing in September, the program provides relief to senior homeowners 65 and older who meet certain household income requirements.
They could be eligible for an additional property tax exemption up to $50,000.
