Redskins' Star Safety Fights For His Life Senate Leader To Quit In Weeks If Only For Chat, Gore Visits Bush

After being critically wounded in a shooting at his Miami-Dade County home, Washington Redskins safety Sean Taylor responded to simple commands from doctors Monday night after surgery. Known as a hard hitter in the NFL, he did not play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday because of a knee sprain.
