TAMPA - Firefighters have evacuated an apartment complex north of Ybor City because of a broken natural-gas line, officials said.
The evacuation of the Mobley Park Apartments, 401 E. Seventh Ave., was in effect as of 4 p.m., Tampa Fire Rescue Capt. Bill Wade said. Depending on the severity of the leak, more people might be evacuated, Wade said.
The broken gas line is located at East Seventh and North Central avenues, Wade said. No injuries have been reported.
