Where will the debate take place?
At the Mahaffey Theater in downtown St. Petersburg.
Can I attend?
No. There are no tickets available for the public. About 1,500 tickets were divided among the state Republican Party - one of the sponsors - CNN, YouTube and St. Petersburg.
When and where is debate being broadcast?
Live on CNN from 8 to 10 tonight. The debate also will be posted on YouTube.com.
What's the format?
Questions will be posed by citizens from across the nation in YouTube-style videos. CNN anchor Anderson Cooper will direct the questions to candidates and ask any follow-up questions.
Who will participate?
Rudy Giuliani, Mike Huckabee, Duncan Hunter, John McCain, Ron Paul, Mitt Romney, Tom Tancredo and Fred Thompson.
How many questions were submitted?
More than 5,000.
How many will be used in the debate?
CNN will have 60 to 70 ready for use; in the similar Democratic debate in July, 40 actually were used.
Can I still submit a question?
No, the deadline has passed.
Will anyone try to pick a winner?
The Florida Chamber of Commerce is attempting an unusual poll to find the winner of the debate. Because federal law prevents late-night polling calls, the chamber and a polling company have arranged to have a randomly chosen sample of Republican voters call in after the debate to give their opinions.
