DURHAM, N.C. - Greg Paulus scored 13 of his 18 points during the decisive first half, and No. 7 Duke ran No. 20 Wisconsin right out of Cameron Indoor Stadium in an 82-58 rout Tuesday night.
Freshman Taylor King added 15 points in his second straight strong game off the bench for the Blue Devils (7-0), who entered wondering how they'd contain a Wisconsin front line that featured three players in the rotation who are 6-foot-10 or taller.
MEMPHIS 104, AUSTIN PEAY 82: Freshman Derrick Rose had 19 points and 12 assists, and No. 3 Memphis (6-0) shot 64 percent from the floor. Memphis has won all its games by double digits.
TENN. 93, N.C. A&T 59: Chris Lofton scored 18 of his season-high 24 points in the first half as No. 11 Tennessee beat North Carolina A&T. Lofton made six 3-pointers in a span of 3:42, starting a 42-11 run over the final 12 minutes of the first half that stretched the lead to 30 by halftime.
PITTSBURGH 80, BOSTON U. 53: Ronald Ramon made all five of his 3-point attempts to score 15 points and No. 14 Pittsburgh put away Boston University to stay unbeaten.
INDIANA 83, GEORGIA TECH 79: Eric Gordon scored 29 points and D.J. White added 18 to help Indiana rally. Jamarcus Ellis scored 12 of his 15 points in the second half for the 15th-ranked Hoosiers.
Terps' Harper Passes 1,000-Point Mark
COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Crystal Langhorne had 15 points and 13 rebounds, Laura Harper scored 21 to eclipse the 1,000-point mark, and No. 3 Maryland (9-0) never trailed in defeating Pittsburgh 90-77.
Langhorne went 6-for-8 from the floor and finished with her 45th career double-double.
Harper, a senior forward, has 1,013 points in 88 games.
NORTH CAROLINA 102, COL. OF CHARLESTON 58: Cetera DeGraffenreid scored a game-high 19 points and No. 4 North Carolina routed winless College of Charleston. Iman McFarland added 17 points and 13 rebounds for North Carolina (8-0).
OKLAHOMA 79, NORTH TEXAS 42: After having her double-double streak snapped at 64 consecutive games in Oklahoma's last outing against Mississippi State, Courtney Paris got back in the double-double groove with 19 points and 22 rebounds to lead No. 9 Oklahoma.
JAMES MADISON 80, GEO. WASHINGTON 55: Tamera Young had 20 points and 14 rebounds to help James Madison (5-0) beat No. 16 George Washington and keep the nation's longest home-winning streak intact at 29 games.
NOTRE DAME 93, CANISIUS 47: No. 22 Notre Dame used a pressing defense to open a big first-half lead.
