Published: November 30, 2007

PHILADELPHIA - Gonzaga needed overtime to deny Saint Joseph's its biggest win in four years.
Matt Bouldin scored 16 points, including the go-ahead free throws in overtime, to help No. 19 Gonzaga hold off Saint Joseph's 70-65 on Thursday night.
Austin Daye scored 17 points and David Pendergraft had 13 for the Bulldogs (6-1), who needed a late rally in regulation for the thrilling win and to take the overall series lead in the battle of the small Jesuit universities 3-2.
Pat Calathes led the Hawks (3-2) with 24 points and Ahmad Nivins scored 14. The Hawks battled back from a 17-point deficit in the first half to take the lead late in the second.

OREGON 80, KANSAS ST. 77: Bryce Taylor scored 11 of his 18 points after halftime, and Maarty Leunen had 14 points and 14 rebounds to help No. 17 Oregon hold off No. 25 Kansas State in overtime.

Oregon had never faced a ranked nonconference opponent on the road in its 105-year history, and Manhattan hadn't seen two ranked teams on the same court since No. 1 Missouri beat 14th-ranked Kansas State by one in 1982.

Oregon (6-1) hit big shots down the stretch of regulation and overpowered the Wildcats in overtime.

Joevan Catron had 15 points and Tajuan Porter added 14 for the Ducks.

Kansas State (5-2) was able to slow down the high-scoring Ducks, but struggled from the perimeter - 8-for-27 from 3-point range - and missed four free throws in overtime, finishing 5-of-12 from the line.

Freshman Michael Beasley had 24 points and 14 rebounds for Kansas State, and Andre Gilbert added 16 points.

PARIS' STREAK RESTORED: Oklahoma center Courtney Paris' double-double streak is still intact after all.

The streak had ended at 64 games when she got only eight rebounds against Mississippi State last week in Cancun, Mexico. But a review of the game video credited her with two more defensive rebounds, keeping the two-year streak alive.

"I think it's cool. If I got the rebounds, then it's cool that it's counted," Paris said after practice Thursday. "But it's never really been something I was too caught up in."

Combined with her 19-point, 22-rebound performance against North Texas earlier this week, the reigning national player of the year's streak now stands at 66 games.

CONNECTICUT 80, BYU 34: Freshman Maya Moore scored 17 points to become the first Connecticut player ever to hit double figures in each of her first six starts, and No. 2 UConn (6-0) routed visiting BYU (3-3).

NORTH CAROLINA 90, PURDUE 72: Rashanda McCants scored 28 points to help No. 4 North Carolina (9-0) hand visiting Purdue its fourth straight loss (2-4).

GEORGIA 69, OAKLAND 59: Tasha Humphrey scored all 19 of her points in the second half to lead No. 7 Georgia (7-0) to a come-from-behind win against visiting Oakland (3-2).

LSU 77, HOUSTON 46: Sylvia Fowles had 19 points, seven rebounds and three blocks, and No. 8 LSU beat host Houston in Coach Van Chancellor's return to the city where he led the WNBA's Comets for 10 seasons.

BAYLOR 81, SOUTHEAST MISSOURI 51: Rachel Allison had 20 points and 10 rebounds to lead No. 10 Baylor (6-0) past host Southeast Missouri (4-3).

DePAUL 74, ILLINOIS-CHICAGO 35: Natasha Williams and Deirdre Naughton scored 16 points apiece to lead No. 17 DePaul (5-0) past Illinois-Chicago (3-3).

MICHIGAN STATE 68, CLEMSON 51: Allyssa DeHaan had a season-high 26 points and 13 rebounds to lead No. 20 Michigan State (6-1) to a win against visiting Clemson (4-3) in the inaugural Big Ten-ACC Women's Basketball Challenge.

TEXAS 76, TEXAS-ARLINGTON 60: Brittainey Raven had 16 points and a career-high nine rebounds to lead No. 24 Texas (5-2) past visiting Texas-Arlington.
