TAMPA - What did the televangelist say to the strip-club owner who talked to the Islamic activist?
TV viewers can find out when "Live Prayer" host Bill Keller, Mons Venus owner Joe Redner and Ahmed Bedier, executive director of the Tampa chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, talk about Christianity and Islam during a live debate on the Tampa Bay Community Network.
The three will be featured on "The Bleepin Truth" at 10 p.m. today on Bright House Channel 20. Check local listings for other times and channels.
"We're going to put a Christian, Islamic and an atheist together. ... We're going to see what happens and where the chips will fall," host Chris Krimitsos said.
Keller's paid-programming show "Live Prayer" was pulled off the lineup at WTOG, Channel 44, in August after Bedier's group, also known as CAIR, wrote a letter to the station's owners asking for an investigation of the show.
Station officials said the decision to end Keller's contract was a programming move, one made by station executives and the televangelist.
In a broadcast May 2, Keller said Islam is a "1,400-year-old lie from the pits of hell" and called Muhammad a "murdering pedophile." He called the Quran a "book of fables and a book of lies."
Keller now has a live show that airs on WTTA, Channel 38, from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Monday through Friday "with the same content my night program had," he said in an e-mail to TBO.
Redner, who owns the Mons Venus strip club in Tampa and other adult businesses, is a free-speech advocate who unsuccessfully has run for local office. He recently announced he will run again, this time for the seat held by Hillsborough County Commissioner Brian Blair.
"We don't doctor anything up, and whatever they believe will be there for everybody to see live," Krimitsos said.
Krimitsos said the show's Web site will have Tuesday's broadcast posted within 24 hours of the broadcast.

Diego, whilst I agree that Joe Redner is the only one among the three who has honesty and integrety and says what is on his mind rather than playing to the crown there are those of us who believe in God. Not all of us are church going or believe in any organized religion but it is our right to believe in a higher power without anyone calling us whackos. I think in this world you will find yourself greatly outnumbered.

Islam is the religion of total intolerence. It is the religion of beheadings, torture, oppression of woman, children and non-believers, hijackers who fly planes into buildings, suicide-homicide bombers and CAIR is nothing more than a front group for something evil that quietly strides for world domination. They have not stood up to the aforementioned therefore they rationalize and condone it.

D Ling
Please correct me if I am wrong and I mean specific verses, but isn't it considered a form a blasphemy both in the bible and the Qur'an to learn and accept other relgions?

Tony: I agree with your comment of "if it is a waste of time for you, then don't watch it."
D Ling-I agree with your view as well, it's all about the love. Peace and love.
And guess what everyone...I don't even believe in God, imagine that! :)

I generally don't take sides but I'll say this, Redner is always introduced as if his business history is a put-down on him, but I've never heard the guy say anything I haven't at least thought was reasonable. He doesn't jump on anybody's bandwagon and thinks for himself, and yeah he's got a pretty sharp mind. When the religious zealots start spewing their tunnel-vision dogma I have to laugh with him.

D Ling, are you serious? Get some experience in life, before you turn yourself loose on the world.
An evangelist (usually a fraud), Redner, a person of no real value and clearly a crazy man and more poop from Islam. Just what we need. Why don't we just surrender the Flag and give up?

WOW! I felt Christ's own testimony in that, didn't you? What are you waiting for? Come to Christ through Bill Keller and join the Kellerite Army.
In your indoctrination, Bill will carefully teach you which faiths you should detest with every fiber of your being and how accepting Christ as your Savior awards you God's own authority to destroy every last stinking one of them.
But Bill's no Radical Islamist! No No! In fact, using out of context scripture, coupled with carefully constructed history, Bill will guide you to the knowledge of how many other Christians today are actually the same men who slaughtered Americans on September 11th.
(Except for Catholics. Bill found out they could squash him like a bug AND they have lots of money.)
So who's ready to wipe out other religions in the name of God? You Are!
Or as Bill would say...
Enjoy Hell!
Everybody chant it with me now....

Once again- instead of just making comments regarding the debate, the result is personal attacks. Keller does not represent an informed Christian perspective of any kind. I am always amazed at how many people get offended at the mention of that word. Yes we believe there is One God- and He has provided a Savior for Man- that is every man, women or child regardless of race, creed or nationality needs to be reconciled to God.
You may ask, WHY?- Sin, everyone is a sinner there are no exceptions. There in lies my rejection of this debate from a philosophical point. Keller, is the worst representative to portray that message.
Now, as for Redner, before you can pretend to represent any sector of society you have to have some credibility- this guy is a flesh peddler. His own family has been drastically affected by his occupation and the use and manipulation of women. Who I might add, knowing their personal mental state has systematically taken full advantage of their lack of self worth, confidence and lack of good positive influence in their lives.
As for CAIR- were they not the one’s poo- pooing the innocence of the two USF students they had no terrorist ties or intentions? Excuse me, but they are nothing more than a mouth piece for insurgent Muslim terrorist within our borders. While we can never paint every Muslim as terrorist- one thing we do know, they are controlled and intimated by them, even here in the US. The threats of violence against them exist even here for their supposed betrayal of Allah, if they support their new national home openly is struggling against these murderers of their own people.

There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end leads to destruction. Prov.14-12 For since the CREATION of the World God's invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without EXCUSE. For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God, or give thanks; but they became futile in their speculations and their foolish HEART was Darkened. Professing to be wise , they became fools Romans 1: 20-22 God Bless all of You

An honest open debate amongst people of different opinions is what democracy is all about. Chris Krimitsos of "Bleepin Truth" on Tampa Bay Community Network TV is to be commended for bringing these controversial individuals together to duke it out. Our community will be the better for it, including more understanding amongst the participants Redner, Bedier and Keller.

I doubt there will be anything worth listening to that hasn't all been said before by some others. Three people trying to sell their opinions to each other. There will be no winners. If we're lucky we might even be able to hear the audio normally without any hum. That is, if you bother to watch. I like Joe so I'll DVR it to watch later. Please Joe, don't lose your temper! No chairs thrown at you again, okay? Let the other two throw chairs at themselves. Makes for some great news video though. See you at 10:00.

Well, Bill Keller got the popping, clicking microphone tonight. Ahmed and Bill went at it and Joe interjected. Audio was up and down, typical Public Access production as usual. I had to keep a hand on my remote to adjust the volume. Chris laughs at one point where Bill and Ahmed get tired of arguing and take a breath. Chris redirects the talk. Chris is a good interviewer. The production crew does what it can with the gear that they have. That annoying pop again. Arguing is about all this show amounts to. So, freedom of speech was exercized. Joe finally says the 'coward' word, his favorite word. Now Joe's getting heated. I knew he wouldn't hold out. But, he makes his points. I could go on but I hope you watched it yourself 'live'. You can still catch it on the web at www.TheBleepinTruth.com. I'm going to watch it again when I can absorb the whole hour. Joe, get a normal haircut. You'll look better and feel better. Dye that gray too. Long live Public Access! Our government needs to get their head out of the sand. I'm done.

More Wacky Willie Keller words of wisdom.
About the Pope:
"His theology is also horribly flawed when he states that non-Catholic churches do not have the "manes (his spelling) of salvation" since salvation does not come from an ecclesiastical body, but through God’s grace and faith in Jesus Christ alone as clearly stated in Scripture!"
OK. That's a common belief among protestantism. But Willie Keller has clearly built his base on Fundamentalist Salvation.
Willie's flavor of God's grace includes profound contempt toward Christian faiths that believe they carry divine sanction.
But the Catholic church has tremendous wealth and influence. Slick Willie has learned that if you aspire to Evangelical Power, you'd better pull the Fundamentalist punch from Catholics.
Hmmmm. Because pure Fundamentalism is preprogrammed to destroy several Christian faiths, including Catholicism; Slick Willie finds himself tottering between his hand crafted Fundamentalist base and his future Evangelical glory.
Oh No! One Catholic Blogger has pulled out a few of Willies anti-Catholic planks, and demanded an explanation.
What will Slick Willie do now?
Let's listen in.....

Subject: RE: shocked and appalled
I could care less about your "blog"..I can READ..and clearly articulated not only what the Pope said..but what is simply a confirmation of what sadly the RC church "teaches"...this is why so many call your church a cult....a wild claim I have to work daily to argue against..but this clown makes it very difficult..fortunately....only a handful of people will read the "spin" on your blog...while between the 3 million a day who subscribe to my Daily Devotional..and the hundreds of thousands who see my TV program each night..will know that what this man said is pure blasphemy..and in compete contradiction to what the Bible teaches.. sola scriptura....sola fides"
OOhhhhh. Slick Willie PREVAILS!
He brings out the "c" word for the Kellerite's hunger for hell, but stops just short of the "send them Catholics back to Hell" knock-out blow.
Both sides of the fence, well played. AND without really addressing the issue at all. He could be Governor of Arkansas.
Great men will be called to prepare the way for "He who comes". Willie seems to have what it takes to be one of those men.
Unfortunately, Jesus Comes shortly thereafter to cast "He who comes", and his followers down.
Ah well. Willie always did encourage us to Enjoy Hell. Now we know why.
