PALM HARBOR - The bodies of two missing boaters were recovered Monday by Pinellas County sheriff's deputies.
The body of Daniel Propes, 46, was found at 3:50 p.m. about 400 feet from where the unoccupied 15-foot fishing boat was discovered in Lake Tarpon.
Deputies pulled the body of Dale A. Puricelli, 49, out of the lake at about 9:30 a.m., authorities said.
The two anglers went missing Sunday morning. Their boat was found adrift in the Lake Tarpon Outfall Canal in Palm Harbor.
Puricelli and Propes, both of Holiday, launched the boat shortly after 7 a.m. Sunday, authorities said.
The boat was found adrift in the lake's southern end about 11:30 a.m., the sheriff's office reported.
The search was suspended about 8 p.m. Sunday because of darkness and resumed at 7:30 a.m. Monday.
Deputies found Puricelli's truck and boat trailer at the Anderson Park launching area in Tarpon Springs.
