HUDSON -- One person was killed and two people, including a juvenile, were seriously injured in a wreck involving two pickups Wednesday, Pasco Fire Rescue said.
The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the fatal accident at the intersection of Kitten Trail and Coyote Road that occurred at 5:14 p.m.
The two seriously injured people were flown to Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg, according to Pasco County Fire Rescue.
There are deep gouges in the grass median helping FHP investigators retrace the route of the two pickups involved in the deadly crash.
One truck ended up in a field in front of Gil Jenkins' house.
"Oh, it crashed and I looked up and that black truck was flipping through the air," he said. "We were like, 'Oh, my God, what just happened?' "
The accident happened about three miles north of State Road 52, not far from Hudson High School.
The victims' names were unavailable
