ST. PETERSBURG - Police are looking for a man they say robbed a Subway sandwich shop Sunday afternoon.
At 1 p.m. Sunday at the Subway at 2202 62nd Ave. S., a man entered and ordered some food and a drink, police spokesman George Kajtsa said. He waited until the other customers were served, then he approached a cashier, pulled out a small handgun and demanded money, Kajtsa said.
After the cashier gave him an undisclosed amount of money, he robbed a customer who was waiting in line and then ran off, Kajtsa said.
The man is black, has a light complexion, is in his 20s, had a moustache and was unshaven, Kajtsa said. He is roughly 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs 150 pounds, has close-cut hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a black "Shawn Jon" baseball cap, a gray polo shirt, bluejean shorts and black tennis shoes
