11:45 a.m. Central Time: Each of the many defense attorneys has individual style. Currently, attorney Waylon Graham is talking to the jury.
Graham has raised the ire of the prosecutors twice now for bold statements. Prosecutor Pam Bondi objected quickly when Graham told the jury that all the youths in the boot camp would have ended up in prison one day. After a brief sidebar with the judge, Graham said he changed his wording to say that some of the boot camp residents may have ended up in prison.
Later, Graham tells the jurors that none of the boot camp drill instructors is vile enough to have enjoyed killing a youth. Again, Bondi jumped up to object.
