Dunedin was upset by the Tornadoes last year, and the Falcons didn't want history to repeat itself. Dunedin's defense was the key, forcing six turnovers, including five interceptions.
Mike Kumbat and Byron Morris were the key defensive players, with Morris scoring two defensive touchdowns and Kumbat adding one.
Clearwater's offense struggled, with quarterback Luke Loucks having trouble completing passes on a rainy night. He completed eight of 16 attempts.
Dunedin junior running back Adaris Bellamy ran for 79 yards and two touchdowns, and Mike Towns returned a punt 43 yards to set up Bellamy's second touchdown.
