The Jesuit cross country team remained undefeated and won its fourth major meet of the season by capturing Saturday's flrunners.com Invitational title in Titusville.
Competing in the Champions division, the Tigers were led by juniors Connor Revord, who took ninth, and Jordan Schilit, who was 22nd. Jesuit, the winner of last week's Southern Stars meet, scored 129 points to beat runner-up Miami Ferguson by 13.
Despite taking a wrong turn while leading the 5-kilometer race, Derek Wehunt finished fourth (15 minutes, 58 seconds) to lead Sickles to seventh. Chamberlain, with 24th-place Mark Parrish, was 12th; Berkeley Prep, led by seventh-place Richard Blake, was 14th; and Land O'Lakes, paced by Felix Soto (17th), was 20th.
Among area girls, Olivia D'Angelo and Page Price led Berkeley Prep to the top team finish in the Champions race at 14th. Wharton's girls opted to compete in the Invitational division and won with 92 points behind the first-place finish of senior Katrina Skinner. Tampa Prep's Lauren Knoke was eighth in the Varsity Open race.
