CAPE CANAVERAL - The crew of space shuttle Discovery is in Florida this week for emergency training and a practice countdown for an upcoming launch.
The astronauts arrived at Kennedy Space Center on Sunday evening.
The shuttle Discovery is slated to launch Oct. 23 and will be led by Pam Melroy. She will become the second woman to command a U.S. shuttle mission.
