Con Man Preys On Women, Police Say

TAMPA - Police will hold a news conference at 2:30 p.m. today to provide details about Jordan Gann, 27, who investigators say is a con artist targeting single women in the Bay area.
Police say Gann poses as a wealthy doctor and real-estate investor and persuades victims to open joint bank accounts. He then cleans out the accounts.
Public records show Gann, a Massachusetts native, has served two years in a Florida prison on a felony grand theft charge.
