You've been on a hot streak lately, shooting 2 under against Plant and 2 over against Plant City. You've got to be feeling pretty good, right?

I am. The last week I've been shooting scores I haven't seen in a while, and I've been doing it at the right time.

Has there been one thing that's aided your recent streak of good play?

I'm just having more time to practice. My dad and my swing coach have been helping me a lot more.

You're not the only Wharton golfer who has been hot. In fact, your team has beat two very good teams in a row in Plant and Plant City. Do you think you guys are playing your best golf now?

Definitely. We're all doing decent and it seems like we're getting better and better each time, so that's pretty good, too.

You're a senior now, and I'm sure you have some memorable moments with the Wharton golf team. What's your most memorable moment as a Wildcat?

Last year we went to Clemson with our old golf coach and got to play there with the Clemson team. We went for a week and got to play the city courses. It was a good experience and we just had fun. I think that was probably the best thing.

You're high school career is nearing an end with only a few weeks left in the season. How do you hope your senior year ends?

I'm pretty confident we're going to get to regionals. I'm pretty sure we can get to states, too, if everyone plays an average game or better. And the way everyone has been playing, that shouldn't be too difficult.
