Regarding 'USF Learns, In Football And Life, 'Finish Strong' ' (front page, Oct. 9):

This is one of the best pieces I have ever seen printed in The Tampa Tribune. Stories like this make me glad I take the paper. Jeff Wagner seems to have a grip on what really matters. No one knows what tomorrow may hold.

Wagner is using something that might defeat many people to help and inspire others. His taking the time to write to Coach Leavitt and the team shows he cares about each of them and wants to see them succeed - not only on the field but, more importantly, in life. The lessons they are learning will be with them forever.

And just so they know, the Bulls are endearing themselves to many of us in the Tampa Bay area. Many Gator fans, like myself, Seminole fans and 'Cane fans seem to all be in agreement - for once - that we would like to see USF do well.

Go Bulls and, in the words of Jeff Wagner, 'Finish strong!'
