THE DIFFERENCE: Academy at the Lakes was unable to stop Maclay's offense and was unable to sustain any offensive drives. Maclay gained nearly 400 yards of total offense by using a balanced attack.

GAME NOTES: Wildcats coach Mark Arbet suited up only 17 players. Their lone score came in the third quarter when Jason Giglio intercepted a pass at Maclay's 10-yard line. … Fullback Shane Arbet needed just two runs to score. … It was the Wildcats' second TD of the season. … Late in the game, Giglio suffered an upper body injury and was taken by ambulance to a local hospital. … Trace Waters had two electrifying kickoff returns of 48 and 31 yards, respectively. … Angela Tusa received a standing ovation when she entered the game as a blocker for AATL on a kickoff return, being the first female player in school history to play in a varsity game.
