Police Say Men Caught With Stolen Air Conditioners

TAMPA - Police say they caught a pair of men with seven stolen air conditioners taken from several apartments in Tampa.

Officers said they spotted the men standing outside a duplex at 4516 E. Frierson Ave., stripping air conditioning coils from an air conditioner that was on the ground next to a pickup. The truck bed held six other stolen units, according to arrest reports.

Vincent A. Davis, 39, and Demare D. Davis, 21, each face four counts of burglary and seven counts of grand theft. Vincent Davis was also charged with possession of burglary tools. He remains at Orient Road Jail on $24,000 bond. Demare Davis remains in custody on $22,000 bond.
