Shooter Sought In Sunday Night Attack

TAMPA - A man was shot in the chest by an unknown assailant while walking in the 1800 block of 24th Avenue at 11 p.m. Sunday, police say.
Julius J. Holmes, 24, of Tampa was taken to Tampa General Hospital with life-threatening injuries. His condition has been upgraded to critical.
The shooter may have fled in a late model red or maroon Ford Taurus with medium tint on its windows, police said.
