GAINESVILLE - The Gators plan to honor walk-on QB Michael Guilford by wearing stickers on their helmets during Saturday's game against Kentucky. Coach Urban Meyer said he let the players choose what they wanted to do as a tribute to Guilford, who died Friday in a motorcycle accident.
Meyer and 10 players attended Guilford's funeral Tuesday in Blountstown.
ANDERSON IN THE MIX: Florida cornerbacks coach Chuck Heater said if Markihe Anderson (knee) is healthy enough to play against Kentucky, he plans to get the sophomore involved with some of the substitution packages.
'I'm not ... looking at him from a standpoint of one to two corners,' Heater said. 'I'm going to try to work him in that third or fourth corner, depending on the package.'
