TAMPA - Hillsborough residents can glimpse a new transit plan that would have trains and buses crisscrossing the county.
A presentation about the Transit Concept for 2050 is set for 7 p.m. on Oct. 23 at Channelside Cinemas in Tampa.
Admission is free. Parking is 50 cents across from Channelside Bay Plaza.
The transit concept, produced by the county's Metropolitan Planning Organization, would have hubs scattered across the county at which passengers can connect to buses and trains.
It will be submitted to the organization's board next month for approval.
