TAMPA - While the University of South Florida prepares to trudge through the biggest six-game stretch in program history - all against Big East opponents, with four on the road - the No. 2 Bulls aren't getting caught up in the varying opinions of whether they are overrated.
'Whatever's destined to happen is going to happen, regardless of what people say,' senior NT Richard Clebert said. 'At the beginning of the season playing for a national championship wasn't a realistic goal. We didn't set that goal. Our goals are always to win at home, beat UCF and win the Big East, which are the main goals that you can control. But while doing these things, you get perks such as being ranked No. 2.'
ODDS AND ENDS: OL Matt Huners (knee) and Nick Capogna (knee) are doubtful for Thursday's game at Rutgers.... In what is becoming a weekly occurrence, several NFL scouts observed practice Tuesday.
