TAMPA - A raging car fire on Interstate 75 near the Interstate 4 interchange clogged traffic this afternoon until firefighters doused the flames.
A 2004 Buick Rainier went up a blaze about 2 p.m. Mike Nolan said he was driving south on the interstate headed to Plant City when he spotted smoke coming from the engine. He pulled over, popped the hood and saw flames.
Traffic was backed up in both directions on I-75 between Fletcher and the I-4 interchange.
