THE DIFFERENCE: With four minutes left in the first half, Lake Placid junior Zack Campbell picked off a pass from quarterback Andrew Burdick and ran it 36 yards to the Lennard 40-yard line. On the tackle, Longhorn defenders caused a fumble, and the Longhorns proceeded with a drive that was capped by a 11-yard touchdown catch by Blake Kennedy from Burdick to increase Lennard's lead to 21-0 with 46 seconds before halftime.

GAME NOTES: The victory was Lennard's first in its inaugural season. … Lake Placid RB Chevontray Wilson amassed 109 yards on the ground in the first half, then started at QB in the third quarter. … Lennard freshman RB Tevin Abbney scored on two rushing touchdowns of 5 and 25 yards. … Both of Burdick's touchdown passes went to Kennedy. … Kennedy finished with seven catches for 119 yards.

STAT OF THE GAME: Abbney rushed for 120 yards on 20 carries.
