Pasco County sheriff's deputies are investigating two separate bank robberies occurring within 90 minutes of each other, the county's third and forth bank robberies in a week.
About 11:30 a.m. a man went into the SunTrust Bank at 2123 U.S. 19, Holiday, showed a teller and note demanding money and left with an undisclosed amount, according to sheriff's office spokesman Kevin Doll.
At 12:52 p.m. deputies got a call of another robbery similarly carried out at Bank of America, 4526 U.S. 19, New Port Richey.
No weapon was seen at either bank and no one was hurt.
In the SunTrust case, the robber is described as about 40 years old and 6 feet tall with a thin build, wearing a blue ball cap, a light-colored shirt and jeans.
He might have gotten away in a purple or blue Geo Metro that was last seen heading south on U.S. 19.
The SunTrust suspect is described as 5-feet 9-inches, 160 pounds with a thin build. He has black and white hair, a beard and moustache, wearing a blue hat, flannel jacket, black and red shirt, blue jeans and black boots.
It wasn't immediately known whether a getaway car was used from Bank of America.
Doll said it's not clear whether this could be the same man suspected in two other robberies last week. During those robberies, the thief, who had a visible tattoo on his neck, and ran away.
Pasco has had 17 bank robberies this year, Doll said.
