Two people in a 1998 Saturn died Sunday night when their vehicle crossed into the eastbound lane of U.S. 92 in Plant City and struck the front of another vehicle, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Their names and ages were not known, according to a Florida Highway Patrol report.
At 8:18 p.m., the Saturn struck a truck driven by Themal Borielal, 29, of Dundee, according to the release. Both vehicles ran off the roadway's north side, struck trees or shrubs and came to rest.
Borielal wasn't injured. His truck had and estimated $15,000 damage.
