BEREA, Ohio - Bob Packard, the winningest football coach at Baldwin-Wallace, died Saturday.
Packard, 64, who coached current Ohio State coach Jim Tressel, died of a heart attack.
A 1965 graduate of the school, Packard played for and was an assistant under Lee Tressel before taking over for him in 1981.
Among the players he helped coach was Tressel's son, Jim, who played quarterback at Baldwin-Wallace.
As a head coach, Packard went 156-54-2. As a player, assistant and head coach, Packard helped Baldwin-Wallace win 258 games.
