DOVER — The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a single-vehicle accident today in the westbound lanes of I-4 at McIntosh Road.
Coincidentally, this is the same location, and 24 hours after a 37-car pileup shutdown the interstate for hours Tuesday. In tonight's wreck, a pickup overturned and spilled fluid on the roadway.
Troopers shut down the interstate to clean the fluid off the road to prevent another multicar pileup again tonight, the FHP said.
The road had reopened by 9 p.m.
There is another crash in the westbound lanes four miles to the west slowing traffic, the FHP said.
