Regarding 'Waterfront Condo Plans Put In Drydock For Now' (Business, Oct. 20):

I read this with amusement and celebration. This particular developer is responsible for closing a very popular marina to build mega buck condos and dockominums. He bought an existing marina and destroyed a way of life for many average-income mariners in the Tampa Bay area. In the article it states how he was for the public and had so many opportunities for the public to take advantage of. This is the same developer that had the state convinced to close the Gandy boat ramp for his greedy ventures.

Who does Ed Oelschaeger consider the public? The only public Ed knows is the public that can afford the very expensive condos and dockominums.
