3 Men Sought In Haines City Home Invasion

HAINES CITY - Police are looking for three black men in connection with a home invasion in which they shot at a teen and held two children at gunpoint in a bathroom.

The three masked men entered the house at 1915 Verano Drive brandishing handguns Wednesday about 1:30 p.m., police said.

One of the men shot at the teen, missed and forced the teen and two small children into the bathroom, police said.

No one was injured.

The house was ransacked and property was stolen, police said. The men fled in an older-model light brown four-door vehicle with light tint.

One man is about 5 feet, 6 inches tall with a small build, and was wearing a black shirt, black shorts and a black mask. He's in his late teens or early 20s, and carried a revolver-type handgun.

The second man is 5 feet, 7 inches tall with a small build, and was wearing a dark green shirt, blue jean shorts and a green mask. He had gold teeth and is about 16 or 17 years old, anc carried a small .22-caliber semi-automatic handgun.

The third man is 6 feet tall with a thin build, and was wearing a black mask. He's in his late teens or early 20s and carried a revolver-type handgun.
