Published: October 26, 2007

Daniel Dae Kim is the latest 'Lost' actor to be arrested on a DUI charge, according to the Honolulu Advertiser.

Kim, who plays Jin-Soo Kwon on the ABC hit, was arrested about 3 a.m. Thursday, accused of drunken driving in Hawaii, where the show is filmed.

Details of the arrest have not been released. However, the actor was booked at the Honolulu Police station and was released at 5:05 a.m. after posting bail.

Other 'Lost' stars busted while in Hawaii include Cynthia Watros and Michelle Rodriguez, who were both arrested for DUI. Watros pleaded guilty to drunken driving in January, and Rodriguez briefly went to jail in April after pleading guilty to the DUI charge against her.

Blanchett Unmasked As Face Of SK-II

Cate Blanchett is used to costumes bordering on disguise on the big screen - layers of thick white makeup for her star turn in the 'Elizabeth' movies, or a wig and leather jacket for her portrayal of a young Bob Dylan in the upcoming 'I'm Not There.'

But it's still surprising to picture her serving breakfast at home wearing a mask. Donning a white cotton, full-face moisturizing cover akin to a soft hockey mask is part of her skin care ritual, says Blanchett, who has been hired as the U.S. face of SK-II, a high-end skin care line from Procter & Gamble Co.

Her two kids aren't always impressed. 'They see it and just roll their eyes,' said the Oscar-winning actress, speaking from Rome. 'They'll wake up in the morning, and I'm making their sandwiches for school and I've got the mask on.'

Blanchett joins a long list of celebrities endorsing personal-care products, but she says she's used SK-II for seven years.

TV News Career Over For Shriver

Maria Shriver says she won't resume her TV news career, citing media coverage of the late Anna Nicole Smith.

Shriver, speaking Tuesday at a women's conference, noted the media circus surrounding Smith's death in February.

'It was then that I knew that the TV news business had changed and so had I,' she said. 'I called NBC News and told them I'm not coming back.'

Shriver took an extended leave from the network when her husband, Arnold Schwarzenegger, ran for governor in 2003. After his win, she made two appearances as an anchor for 'Dateline NBC.'

In 2004, she announced she was leaving NBC News because she was unable to juggle her work as a journalist with her duties as California's first lady.

Spears Won't Be Tried Over Crash

Britney Spears avoided a criminal hit-and-run trial by paying for damages in a fender-bender but still faces a charge of driving without a license, a court commissioner ruled Thursday.

Spears was not required to attend the hearing on the misdemeanor charges stemming from an Aug. 6 parking lot mishap.

Superior Court Commissioner Susan Speer dismissed the hit-and-run charge after an attorney for the pop star said his client had paid an undisclosed amount to a woman whose car was hit in a Studio City parking lot.

A charge of driving without a license was not dismissed and a pretrial hearing was scheduled for Nov. 26. The commissioner accepted a not guilty plea entered on Spears' behalf by attorney Michael Flanagan.
